Ryan Patrick O'Connor, Creator/Writer
Ryan Patrick O’Connor was born twenty years ago at MetroHealth Medical
Center, in Cleveland, Ohio. Weighing in at one pound and two ounces he was,
at that time, the most premature and lowest birth weight male ever born
at that hospital. Ryan was considered a miracle baby. When he entered into
the educational system, he was labeled as Developmentally Delayed. His doctors
thought his delays were a direct result of his extreme prematurity.
Ryan played on the football team during his junior year of high school and on the lacrosse team his senior year. He graduated from Bay High School in 2006. Ryan lives in Bay Village, Ohio with his Mom Laurie and and Stepfather Jim.
Although Ryan has great difficulty with reading and writing he has a very vivid imagination. He is fascinated with films; especially those that involve super heroes. It was this love for super heroes that inspired him to create Stingray Man and yearn to make a comic book.
